I experienced the joy of blending with the trainees from FTTB. We shared to one another our heart desires to serve the Lord. It was so sweet and I was being strengthened.
In the classes, the FTTB trainees did their best to listen and understand brother Ron’s speaking. They are desperate towards God’s word. In serving during the conference, they were willing to coordinate whole heartedly without any complaint or murmuring. Throughout the time spent with them, their spirit and willingness to serve have encouraged me to be a crazy lover of Jesus!
I treasured and enjoyed the exercising of their spirit which is full of freshness and aggressiveness. We had a lot of prayers together before we started our services to prepare for the Blending Conference in Peninsular Malaysia. We all prayed and served as members of the Body of Christ. They were really diligent in service. Although sometimes they were tired with the tight schedule, they just learnt to follow us closely. I also grasped the opportunities to blend, fellowship, pray and serve with them, enjoying the riches of Christ in each another. Praise the Lord for the living Christ in all of us!
I felt at home when I was here in Malaysia Full-time Training center. Although I am not familiar with the environment here, I felt secured being taken care of by the FTTMY trainees. This is indeed as what the bible recorded, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell in unity!” This is because within us, we have the same one Spirit. We are members of the Body of Christ. There is the divine love in us. Thus we can dwell in unity.
Although we only have a short period of time together, we are as what Psalms put it, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell in unity!” I treasured the coordinating together in the service these few days. Physically we are tired and the schedule of service is busy. However through the fellowship of the brothers and the coordination with the trainees from FTTB, our spirit rejoices and was strengthened. Although we are trained in different places, we are all trained under the same ministry. We do and speak the same thing. Besides, most of the visiting FTTB trainees and I came from the same country. Thank the Lord that we have the chance to join the two years full-time training to be perfected. When the brothers fellowship with us the burden for the gospel work, the brothers and sisters answer the Lord’s calling. They are willing to offer up their portion to the Lord. This touches me. I was being strengthened to consecrate my whole life to the Lord.
The FTTB trainees are those who pay the price. There are a number of sisters who had worked for many years but they dropped their job to join the training. There is one who got saved for not more than 2 years and is now joining the training. Their desire to join the training is very strong. Although they cannot adapt to the schedule and services these few days, they are very serious and endeavor to serve. They mutually care for one another and become members one of another. The Spirit brings them together into one. When they came together in two or three, they speak nothing else but have fellowship, singing hymns and pray together.
Thank the Lord! To maintain the joy in my spirit during the service is what I’ve been blessed the most in FTTMY. In the past, I always complaint if I got tired when serving. However in the coordination this time, I realized that I should not depend on my own will to serve. I cannot serve with my natural enthusiasm. I need to exercise my spirit to receive the supply from the Lord all the time. My joy and my smile comes from Him.
