God's Economy
God’s economy is His plan to dispense Himself into His chosen and redeemed people as their life, their life supply, and their everything in order to gain a corporate expression of Himself, consummating for eternity in the New Jerusalem. This divine economy is the subject of the Bible, the meaning of human life, and the desire of God’s heart.
The Triune God and His Word
According to the entire revelation of the sixty-six books of the Bible, the Divine Trinity—the Father, the Son, and the Spirit—is for God’s dispensing, that is, for the distribution of God into His chosen people. God’s desire with His strong intention is to dispense Himself into His chosen people as their life, as their life supply, and as their everything. To carry out this dispensing He needs to be triune.
The Body of Christ
The issue that flows out of the dispending of the divine Trinity is the church as the Body of Christ (Eph. 1:17-23). The unique God is triune-God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit. He has dispensed Himself into all of His chosen and redeemed people, making them an issue out of His very essence, His very element. The issue of the dispensing of the divine Trinity is the church as the Body of Christ. The dispensing Triune God becomes the Head, and the issue that comes out of His dispensing becomes the Body.
The New Jerusalem
The total conclusion of the entire sixty-six books of the Bible is the New Jerusalem. The ultimate consummation of all that God is and of all His work and achievements, from eternity past across the bridge of time and into eternity future, is the New Jerusalem. It is both illogical and unscriptural to surmise that the great goal of God, the total conclusion of the entire Bible, and the consummation of all that God is and of all of His work and achievements is a physical city. The New Jerusalem is a wonderful, mysterious corporate person. This person is the wife of Christ, the aggregate of all the glorified sons of God, and the ultimate consummation of the Triune God to be everything to His chosen and redeemed people. We do not go to the New Jerusalem. Instead, we become the New Jerusalem.
